Crane Lakes’ Presidential golf course is, by any criterion,
a fair test of golf which challenges scratch and average players alike, to use
every club in the bag. Each hole presents the golfer with unique
‘risk-reward’ course management decisions that can mean the difference
between sub par or bogie round of golf.

The South golf course is the
original 18 holes and is a Donald Ross design. Much of the originality of Mr.
Ross' design is evident. It is a very sporty golf course; the tee shot being
very forgiving, but approaches are demanding if you want to get close to the
flag stick for a birdie attempt. Our
North golf course was built and designed by Slim Deathridge in 1946. In 1997,
the golf course was re-built. All greens, bunkers, and tees were redone. There
is more water in play and the greens offer more undulation on this course, which
adds to a greater overall challenge.
