The first undersea park in the United States, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, and the adjacent Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, cover approximately 178 nautical square miles of coral reefs, seagrass beds and mangrove swamps. They feature glass-bottom boats, snorkel and scuba trips, and family fun.

Set on a five-acre natural lagoon, their activities include swim-with-the-dolphins, guided kayak and snorkel tours, backcountry ecotours, crocodile tours, and SCUBA instruction.

Their mission is to to reduce the suffering of sick and injured wild birds, to reduce the occasions of their injury through education, to reduce environmental hazards that place the birds at risk, and to increase the number of common and endangered birds that are released to live in the wild.

They offer a 30 minute structured program where you will have hands on contact with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. You will also be allowed to snorkel, at the surface and below, allowing you to interact with the animals who will accompany you.

From their dock you can feed the school of 50 to 100 tarpon who come here daily and linger for hours.

A not-for-profit education and research facility, they are home to a family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and California sea lions.
