About Woody's...The Hurricane Of 1928, with it's torrential rains and pounding surf, created the inlet called Blind Pass. Woody's was built on the inlet in 1946 facing the Gulf of Mexico. Woody's was originally established as a Bait House serving Florida's fishermen hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cold beer. In the early fifties it was renamed the Sunset Inn, becoming a gathering place for the local community. Today, Woody's has evolved into a tourist and family restaurant featuring fine food and fun; still maintaining the atmosphere of the 50's and 60's, and continuing to serve the local community.
